This renovation and extension of an existing 1960s home in Lorn was designed to create a more considered connection between the existing dwelling, new living spaces and the landscape beyond.

Located within the Lorn Heritage Conservation Area, the design retains the established character and street presence of the original home while introducing a contemporary addition to the rear. A restrained material palette, lightweight cladding, natural timber and muted tones help the new work sit comfortably within its surroundings.

The project brings together generous indoor and outdoor living spaces, a new pool and landscaped garden, creating a relaxed family home with a subtle blend of coastal and mid-century influences.
